TaqMan SNP genotyping assays from Applied Biosystems provide a flexible technology for SNP detection. The assays are based on TaqMan chemistry and thus produce results with high reproducibility and accuracy. TaqMan genotyping assays are ideal for genotype screening, association and linkage studies, candidate region, candidate gene or fine mapping studies. The assays are available off the shelf or can be customized to specific needs.

First time users of the ABI SNP Detection Service are strongly encouraged to arrange an initial consultation. This service is performed robotically, so specific plates must be used and layouts are restricted. The consultation is free and provides a thorough introduction to ABI’s SNP technology.
