Posted:6/22/2011 – New Reduced Pricing for Affymetrix Gene Expression Effective July 1, 2011, the pricing to process samples for Affymetrix gene expression microarrays will be reduced from $300 to $250. Posted: 9/26/2008 – The Facility is proud to announce the new Laser Capture Microdissection Service at Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. The LCM service is equipped with a “Veritas” microscope system (Molecular Devices). The service is broad spectrum, offering access to and training in the use of the Veritas LCM system and if necessary, sample procurement. The Veritas LCM system is equipped with: a UV (capture) laser, an infra-red (cutting) laser and an epi-fluorescence capability. Context services (section staining, extraction of nucleic acids from LCM derived materials, sample amplification/preparation for microarray and/or RT-PCR are also offered.
